The Good Shepherd Coloring Contest
Since St. John’s will not be having VBS this year, we will instead be holding a coloring contest that kids can do at home. All contestants will be coloring a picture of Jesus the Good Shepherd. The page to color is available in the office on the table (if you mess up your picture and want to try again, you can come and get another page). Pages can be colored at home and returned to the church when done. They will be hung in the fellowship hall for everyone to see. The picture receiving the most votes at the end of the judging period will be the winner for that age group. Each winning picture will receive a 10” x 12” framed print of Jesus the Good Shepherd, made by pastor. Every participant in Pre-K - 8th grades will receive a free “Have No Fear Little Flock” shirt at the end of the event.
There is also an adult category for anyone from high school - 100. The winner will also receive a framed print of Jesus the Good Shepherd, but adult participants will not get a free shirt for participating. Adults may order a shirt for $10.
Additional prints (unframed) of Jesus the Good Shepherd are available for purchase, should anyone want one. Prints are $20 each for 10” x 12”. Larger 18” x 20” prints (as displayed in the frame at church) can be purchased for $30. Approximately $8 of each purchase will go to the LYF for future activities.

Rules:
1. Use any coloring medium you want (crayon, colored pencil, paint, etc).
2. Pictures must be signed on the back (not on the front). That way, people casting votes will not know who colored which picture.
3. Limit one entry per person.
4. Pictures must be turned in to the church by June 28th.
5. All colored pictures will be displayed and votes cast by congregation members to determine a winner.
6. Judging will end and prizes will be awarded July 5th. T-shirts will be (hopefully) available July 12th.
